At the end of his Gospel, the apostle John says in chapter 21, verse 25, -"There are many other things Jesus did.  If everyone of them were written down, I suppose the whole world would not be big enough for the books that would be written."

We are often asked if our plays are Biblical and our answer is always - Absolutely YES. But as John says, there is SO much more that has never been told.  Most of the encounters Jesus had with people are written very briefly.  The longest conversation recorded in the scripture is the story of "The woman at the well."  When Jesus called Matthew,  the Bible simply says that he immediately left his tax office and followed.  Although we have been given all we need to believe, we like to imagine what else may have happened.

As we portray these wonderful stories about Jesus' ministry, we have created a story line both before, and after the events.  We have imagined what the characters might have been like, where they came from, and where they went after meeting Jesus.  Dialogues have been written that provide a setting for the story in order to better portray it on stage.  Jesus, the apostles, and the people Jesus meets, will have many conversations that we believe would have been true to their character.  It's often called "Artistic License," but we believe it is simply a helpful way to better communicate these amazing  stories and events.

We encourage you to read the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John for the basic stories as they are given to us.  The Bible is, afterall, the final authority and the most concise account available.....It is, of course,  the inspired word of God.
